Co-op 28 is an eclectic unisex co-operative boutique that sells all types of jewelry, bath and body products, clothes, baby and pet items, leather products, pillows, candles, wall art, photos of vintage movie & rock stars, guitar straps,
gifts and so much more! All HANDMADE or from INDEPENDENT designers from around the world. Artists who are interested in participating in our Co-op can contact me at coop28handmade@aol.com with links or images of their designs.

popKiller is a Japanese owned & themed clothing store based in
Los Angeles, California since 2003. We offer a UNIQUE selection of
Men’s and Women’s new and used vintage style clothing, hats,
and accessories, sunglasses, shoes,toys,records and our original
T-shirts. Our goal is to bring the customers "Fun!" popKiller's T-shirts are
carefully shaped so that they are "fit" and comfortable for everyone.
We work with local artists and innovative designers who create
a unique, witty, and fun designs. Our in-house facility gives us the
flexibility to make quick & new products. Custom orders are
available as well.

Quite possibly the most unique store in the world, Soap Plant / Wacko is an international shopping destination that has attracted visitors from most countries on all seven continents (Antarctica included!) and seems to epitomize the cultural versatility of Los Angeles. Started in 1971 by proprietor Billy Shire as a soap, oil and incense shop, the business expanded to include unique fashions and jewelry, local and imported folk art, toys, prints and posters. Today the store occupies 5200 square feet (in what was once the Los Feliz Post Office), and in addition to the essential oils and shower products that launched the business nearly 40 years ago, houses one of the world's most thorough collections of postcards, chotchkies, art books, and collectible art- toys. Since 1986, the store has also incorporated La Luz de Jesus Gallery, which helped launch the Lowbrow and Pop-surrealism movements of California art, and continues to support, promote and advance the Los Angeles art scene via groundbreaking exhibitions that have built careers while gaining global attention.
